There should be no space between the bed and the adjacent wall where the baby could roll over and become trapped. And of course, you shouldn't carry the baby on your stomach. There are as many options as there are parents and babies. As babies grow and their sleep habits change, families often respond by changing their sleeping arrangements. The only right choice is to make the whole family as comfortable as possible.
